More: New Dining: Pho Concept Celebrates Grand Opening in Chinatown Las Vegas on April 24
Pho Concept, one of Las Vegas’ newest Vietnamese restaurants located in Chinatown, celebrated its ribbon-cutting grand opening on Sunday, May 31. The event brought together community members, business leaders and elected officials to celebrate the restaurant’s official opening at 4745 Spring Mountain Road.
Guests included State Sen. Rochelle Nguyen, Assemblyman Duy Nguyen (who was wearing a black T-shirt that read All I Do Is Nguyen, Nguyen, Nguyen No Matter What), representatives from the offices of U.S. Sen. Jacky Rosen and Gov. Joe Lombardo, community leaders Asian Community Development Council Founder and Vice President Vida Lin and American Pacific Islanders Chamber of Commerce President Catherine Francisco and more.

The celebration featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, cultural entertainment, complimentary food tastings and special promotions for guests. The event also served as a fitting conclusion to Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month highlighting the contributions of Vietnamese-owned businesses and the broader AANHPI community to Southern Nevada.
Pho Concept opened last month bringing authentic Vietnamese cuisine to the Spring Mountain corridor while honoring the legacy of the previous beloved Vietnamese restaurant that occupied the location for more than 31 years.
“Our goal is to preserve the authentic flavors and traditions people love while creating a fresh, modern experience that welcomes a new generation of guests,” said Pho Concept Operations Manager Chris Hong. “We look forward to becoming a gathering place for families, friends and food lovers from all backgrounds.”

The media turnout was small – a few TV stations, content creators and yours truly – on Sunday morning, but the community and leaders were there, and the egg rolls, spring rolls, crab fried rice, chicken wings and platters including noodles and beef were delicious. I saw customers order ginormous bowls of pho, and I look forward to returning to Pho Concept to devour the hot and flavorful noodles.
My lychee lemonade was refreshing in a plastic cup with a lid that says My Name Is Happy. Pho Concept makes me happy. Pho Concept is open from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily. More: (702) 268-7188 and PhoConcept.com.
