Yee-Haw! AFAN’s 39th Annual Black & White Party Is at Palms on Sept. 20

Entertainers and guests include “RuPaul’s Drag Race” winner Symone, Las Vegas’ Mirage of “RPDR,” David Hernandez of “American Idol” and more.

Aid for AIDS of Nevada’s 39th Annual Black & White Party returns Saturday, Sept. 20, at Kaos Nightclub at Palms Casino Resort, and one of “the hottest events of the year” heads to the Wild Wild West for a night of fashion, entertainment and community spirit.

Guests are encouraged to dress in their best black-and-white western looks as they enjoy live performances, culinary pop-ups, immersive photo opportunities and interactive activations. Proceeds from the event benefit AFAN’s year-round programs for individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada.

AFAN’s largest annual fundraiser is from 8 p.m. to midnight at Kaos, 4321 W. Flamingo Road at Palms. A VIP reception at Kaos is from 8 to 9 p.m. before the main event.

Fredric Godinez and Alexander Stabler of Fredric Alexander are the B&W Party hosts, and entertainers and guests include “RuPaul’s Drag Race” winner Symone, Las Vegas’ Mirage of “RPDR,” David Hernandez of “American Idol,” Kyle Khou of “American Idol,” the cast of Piranha Nightclub and the cast of Gipsy Nightclub.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” winner Symone is set to be one of the performers at the 2025 AFAN Black & White Party at Palms.

Also, the cast of Luxor headliners “Fantasy,” Keyska Diva of The Phoenix Bar & Lounge, the cast of “Vegas! The Show,” singer Harrison Barnes, singer Chase Brown of “Vegas Country,” pole artist Quinton Lopez, AFAN Executive Director Antioco Carrillo and the cast of Planet Hollywood headliners The Chippendales.

AFAN was founded in 1984 and is the oldest AIDS service organization in Nevada. Over the years, AFAN has created programs that offer consistent and comprehensive assistance, including HIV testing, medical case management, housing assistance, medication referral, food programs, prevention and education and community outreach.

As part of AFAN’s mission, these client service programs assist in enhancing the physical health and psychosocial wellness of the individuals they serve while promoting dignity and improving the quality of their lives.
