With a pizza and restaurant legacy of more than a half century, Tony Cimino and his fiancé Ashleigh Hughes have brought their family recipes and passion from Tony’s Pizzeria to Pawn Plaza in Downtown Las Vegas.

Having newly arrived in Las Vegas, the pair are excited to be on the Las Vegas Strip and Pawn Plaza to offer Las Vegas residents and tourists Italian offerings directly from their roots in Chicago.

“I love having another family business in Pawn Plaza and know the Old Man would have loved these wings,” said Rick Harrison, star of “Pawn Stars” and proprietor of Pawn Plaza. “The food is delicious, and this addition is just what we needed here on our Pawn Stars block.” 

The menu offers pizza of many kinds on five crusts ranging from thin to deep dish and stuffed. Appetizers include wings, rolls and sticks, with the Midwestern favorite Bosco Sticks offered. Calzones and salads round out the menu.

Tony’s Pizzeria serves up specials such as a football-shaped pizza and a 24” pizza for game days and nights. Pizza can be bought by the slice daily between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., as well. 

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, with specials, complimentary samples while supplies last and prizes. 

 “We’re new to Las Vegas but know this is where we were meant to be and are enjoying learning about our new hometown,” Hughes said. “We’re excited to become part of the community.”

 “This has always been our dream, and we know that our customers are going to love our Chicago-oriented Italian menu,” Cimino added. A portion of proceeds from September sales will go to World Cancer Research Day and National Suicide Prevention.
