Tone Lōc to Hit Stage, Celebrate Birthday at Barbershop at Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on March 19

Tone Lōc became a defining voice of hip-hop after his debut album “Lōc-ed After Dark” and its lead single “Wild Thing” took over MTV and radio seemingly overnight.

If “Wild Thing” has been stuck in your head for decades, this is your night. The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip is taking the dial way back with a star-powered edition of “Back to the ’80s” hosted by Tone Lōc on Thursday, March 19.

The iconic rapper, who will also be celebrating his birthday, will hit the stage with house band Neon Knights to perform his global hits “Wild Thing” and “Funky Cold Medina.” Reservations are encouraged and can be made at TheBarbershopLV.com

Doors open at 8 p.m., with a DJ spinning the decade’s greatest hits before Neon Knights brings the glam rock, hair metal and synth-pop. Lōc takes the stage later in the night. Guests are encouraged to dress the part – from big hair and bulky necklaces to neon lipstick.

A breakout star in 1989, Tone Lōc became a defining voice of hip-hop after his debut album “Lōc-ed After Dark” and its lead single “Wild Thing” took over MTV and radio seemingly overnight.

Known for his unmistakable gravelly-voiced baritone, Lōc has remained one of the era’s most beloved performers who today is still touring, still commanding a room and still making audiences roar over a beat that refuses to age.

The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails is open at 8 p.m. to close on Sundays through Wednesdays and 6 p.m. to close on Thursdays through Saturdays. For reservations and more information, visit The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails at TheBarbershopLV.com and call (702) 698-7434.
