NASCAR Cup Series drivers Chase Briscoe and Noah Gragson spent Thursday, March 5, touring Las Vegas for visits, interactions and media spots. From reading to second-graders and visiting service members to racing fans on the track, the duo brought excitement pre-Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway March 14-15.

Their first stop was Aggie Roberts Elementary School, where the drivers spent time in second-grade classes reading a children’s book and sharing what it’s like to be a NASCAR driver. Students asked questions, learned about racing and heard firsthand about the dedication and teamwork it takes to succeed in motorsports.

Next up was Nellis Air Force Base, where they met with airmen who will pilot the flyover for Pennzoil 400 and toured the flightline, including a look at the A-10 Thunderbolt II. Briscoe and Gragson learned about the aircraft’s capabilities and engaged with service members about the military and NASCAR.

At Sunrise Children’s Hospital, the drivers spent time crafting with young patients and sharing laughs and stories. They visited units in the hospital, including the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where they met with patients and their families and took time to thank caregivers for the work they do every day.

“I love getting to come back home and spend time in Las Vegas,” said Gragson. “Visiting the kids was great, and I’m excited to get back out to Las Vegas Motor Speedway and hopefully put on a great show for my hometown.”

The drivers stopped by KLAS Channel 8 in Las Vegas and encouraged fans to attend Pennzoil 400. “Las Vegas Motor Speedway is very underrated and doesn’t get talked about enough,” said Briscoe. “The corners are super tricky, and it really makes for a great racetrack. Over the years, it’s turned into one of the best tracks.”

At K1 Speed, the drivers raced fans in karts and took part in a meet-and-greet for autographs and photos, then finished the day at The Mayfair Supper Club at Bellagio for dinner with views of the Bellagio Fountains.

The NASCAR weekend at LVMS culminates with Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube on Sunday, March 15. Fans can expect a weekend of on-track action, entertainment and fan experiences leading up to one of the most anticipated races of the season. For tickets, event schedules and more, visit LVMS.com.
