Mashed.com Names Ada’s in Downtown Las Vegas as Best Wine Bar in Nevada

Late last year, Ada’s was also recognized by the World of Fine Wine in London, England, for the second time as having the “Most Original Wine List” worldwide.

Continuing a wave of remarkable recognition, Ada’s, Las Vegas’ most awarded wine and food destination, has been recognized by Mashed.com as the Best Wine Bar in Nevada in its national roundup highlighting the top wine bar in every state.

The recognition follows Ada’s recent semifinalist nomination for the 2026 James Beard Foundation Awards in the Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program category, reinforcing the strength and national relevance of its wine program.

Late last year, Ada’s was also recognized by the World of Fine Wine in London, England, for the second time as having the “Most Original Wine List” worldwide.

“It just feels great to be ‘seen,’ ” says Ada’s “Wine Goddess Kat Thomas.: “Of course, we are much more than a ‘wine bar’ now by any definition, but we remain dedicated to serving great wines as our core mission.”

In December, Ada’s relocated from Tivoli Village to Downtown Las Vegas’ vibrant Arts District, a move that drew coverage from Food & Wine, which described the neighborhood as “the city’s most exciting place to eat.”

Named in homage to Ada Coleman, the legendary barwoman of London’s Savoy Hotel, Ada’s is a wine-centric restaurant from James Beard finalist Chef James Trees and LEV Group.

Chef de Cuisine Jackson Stamper (formerly of Employees Only in New York) collaborates with Chef Trees on shareable dishes that draw inspiration from Mediterranean and Asian flavors alongside clean proteins and a smash burger.

Advanced Sommelier Thomas curates the award-winning wine list, categorizing selections by character – such as zesty, bright and aromatic or bold, spicy and rich – rather than grape or region, creating a tasting that’s inviting and adventurous.

Ada’s has earned acclaim locally and nationally, including back-to-back wins for “Most Original Wine List” in the World from World’s Best Wine Lists (2024 and 2025) and a two-star designation.

Also: the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence the past two years; from Wine Enthusiast as one of the Top 50 Wine Restaurants in the U.S.; and the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Top 100 Restaurants.
