GlowFest to Light Up Paradise Road in Las Vegas This Winter

As guests explore landscapes, they’ll encounter monumental light creations like the Tree of Life, the Lotus Garden and celestial gateways.

Las Vegas this wintertime will welcome a new kind of light experience pairing spectacle with storytelling. Opening Saturday, Dec. 20, at 2600 Paradise Road near the Sahara Las Vegas Monorail Station, GlowFest transforms more than 200,000 square feet into a radiant world of art, light, culture, taste and storytelling running through Feb. 22 from Christmas to New Year’s to Lunar New Year.

More than just another light show, GlowFest reimagines the traditional lantern festival, where technology meets artistry and emotion. Guests are invited on a mesmerizing, multisensory journey illuminated at every turn and complemented by a rotating lineup of Las Vegas food vendors, chef pop-ups and food trucks.

Families can take part in kid-friendly favorites, while food lovers explore chef-driven creations and limited-time offerings designed to evolve throughout the season. Born from a passion to elevate cultural heritage and creativity, GlowFest invites guests to follow the story of a baby dragon lost in the darkness of the universe.

Drawn to the flow of a distant blue-green diamond, the dragon discovers Earth, a world alive with color, wonder and light. Its journey unfolds through five realms: Reality, Nature, Ocean, Celestial Realm and Exotic Lands, where two white elephants act as guides through handcrafted sculptures, interactive installations and mesmerizing projections that bring fantastical worlds to life.

As guests explore these landscapes, they’ll encounter monumental light creations like the Tree of Life, the Lotus Garden and celestial gateways, each designed to spark connection, curiosity and imagination during the holiday months of December, January and February.

“We wanted to create something deeper than a typical light show with bright lanterns and flashing displays,” said David Valenzuela, GlowFest program director. “GlowFest is about the journey, engaging your senses and imagination to feel the art around you and creating your own story within it.”

Throughout the season, GlowFest will feature holiday programming for all ages, including visits with Santa, live Christmas carolers and New Year’s cosplay performances, ensuring that every visit feels fresh and festive. True to its Las Vegas roots, GlowFest also celebrates local collaboration, featuring Las Vegas-based culinary partners, artists, performers and schools.

“This is as much about community as creativity,” Valenzuela said. “It’s an opportunity for people to make something together and experience it together.” Ticket proceeds will go to arts and cultural programs in local schools, further connecting GlowFest to the community and helping inspire the next generation of creativity.

“ ‘Glow’ sparks joy, and that’s what this production is all about,” Valenzuela said. “Bringing glow to people’s hearts, faces and minds. A celebration of glow, a festival of glow – a GlowFest.” Entertainment, vendors, food, beverage and events, along with ticket on-sale dates, will be announced soon.
