Ghosts, ghouls and glittering costumes are taking over Downtown Las Vegas this Halloween. Fremont Street Experience is celebrating the holiday with “Costumes Under the Canopy” on Friday, Oct. 31, a themed extravaganza where guests are encouraged to flaunt their most creative, spooky and over-the-top costumes beneath The Canopy.
The five-block entertainment district will be alive with costumed revelers, free live entertainment, dazzling visuals and plenty of free Halloween fun. This year’s lineup promises something for every creature of the night:
- Alter Igor – fan-favorite Alter Ego transforms into its Halloween alter-ego with full costumes, makeup, dancers and a rock-heavy set of spooky tunes on the 1st Street Stage from 8 to 11 p.m.
- The Outlaw Mariachi – the high-energy Latin-rock mashup will hit the 3rd Street Stage at 9 p.m.
- Wicked Dreams – the theatrical Halloween show featuring aerial acrobats, singers and dancers set to EDM-inspired Halloween hits will be on the 3rd Street Stage throughout the night.

On Halloween night, Las Vegas’ most creative and spooky costumes will take over the 3rd Street Stage beneath The Canopy. The contest starts at 9 p.m., with on-site registration from 6 to 8:30 p.m. behind the stage. Space is limited, and top costumes will win $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000.
For thrill-seekers, rides on SlotZilla offer a bird’s-eye view of the action, while the entire street comes alive with lights, music and Halloween energy. For more information and the October entertainment calendar, visit VegasExperience.com.
