Legendary rock band Foreigner made an appearance in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 7, with a visit to Las Vegas Motor Speedway where band members took part in an on-track experience driving stock cars.

The visit at Las Vegas Motor Speedway also served as the official announcement that Foreigner will perform the National Anthem ahead of the Pennzoil 400 race at LVMS in North Las Vegas on Sunday, March 15.

Taking place at LVMS’ NASCAR Racing and Richard Petty Driving Experiences, the event gave band members Lou Gramm and Luis Maldonado the opportunity to get behind the wheel and experience the thrill of racing on the track.

“We’re excited to have Foreigner bring their musical excellence to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for Pennzoil 400,” said LVMS Senior Vice President and General Manager Patrick Lindsey.

“Bringing together legendary rock artists and the high-energy atmosphere of race weekend creates a unique experience for not only NASCAR fans, but also for the broader Las Vegas community.”
