Global Mexican star Carín León has wrapped up his historic residency “De Sonora para el Mundo” at Sphere in Las Vegas. During his second weekend, León’s three night run took the crowd on a journey through his career with a 26-song setlist that included “A Través del Vaso,” “Que Vuelvas,” “El Tóxico,” “She Hurts Like Tequila,” “Colmillo de Leche” and “Primera Cita.”

León and his band were joined onstage throughout the second weekend by iconic Mexican names. On Friday, León brought out one of his “biggest musical inspirations,” the legendary Pepe Aguilar, performing “Lamentablemente” as well as Aguilar’s hit “Por mujeres como tú.” Lupe Esparza, lead singer of Bronco – a band who was a defining part of León’s childhood – followed with a medley.

On Saturday, early 2000s pop took over the venue with Reik, icons of Spanish-language pop. Joined by Jesús, Julio and Bibi, León performed “Creo en ti” and “Inolvidable.” On Sunday, León brought his 2026 Sphere residency to a close by welcoming Cristian Castro, one of the legends of Mexican romantic music, to the stage to perform pop anthems “Yo Quería,” and “No Podrás.”

Earlier, during his first weekend at Sphere, León had shared the stage with Cody Johnson, The Warning, Kany García, Jorge Medina and Intocable. León, however, had to cancel the fourth show last Thursday last-minute. With sold-out nights, León cemented himself as one of the most influential Latin live acts in music today.

Fans from across Mexico and the U.S., media, influencers and celebrities including DJ Diplo, Farruko and Tokischa, Memo Ochoa, Jorge Campos, Javier “Vasco” Aguirre, Chicharito Hernández, Emiliano Zurita, Mauricio Ochmann, Aislinn Derbez and Carla Giraldo were among the guests during the residency debut.

León’s stay also featured a collaboration with Fontainebleau Las Vegas, which included the first U.S. pop-up of La Cura Fest at Liv Beach featuring Jorge Medina, Bolela and Kakalo on the Las Vegas Strip.

León returns to Sphere in 2027 for his second residency. Produced by AEG, the run includes three shows on Sept. 16-17 and 18. Pre-sales are open, and tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. PT at CarinLeonLive.com.
