Sunday, April 5, is National Deep Dish Pizza Day, and even though it falls on Easter Sunday this year, there is still reason to celebrate that delicious cheesy, crusty favorite of people everywhere.
Who knows maybe even The Easter Bunny can’t resist a slice of deep dish deliciousness?
In just a short while in town and at Pawn Plaza, Tony’s Pizzeria has already been named “best Chicago-style pizza in Las Vegas,” so it is the perfect weekend to come and try one of Las Vegas’ newest pizza places if you haven’t already.
To make it even more perfect, from Friday, April 3, through Sunday, April 5, owners Tony Cimino (in the main photo) and his fiancée Ashleigh Hughes will be offering 15% off any deep dish pizza. I stopped by shortly after Tony’s Pizzeria opened and absolutely loved the pizzas. It’s time for a return!

And just so The Easter Bunny doesn’t feel left out, if you mention Easter when you order, the first 15 people ordering on Easter Sunday will get a free mini Easter basket with their deep dish pizza.
Tony’s Pizzeria is open 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesdays-Mondays, closed Tuesdays, at Pawn Plaza, 725 S. Las Vegas Blvd. just south of The World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, home to History’s “Pawn Stars.”
