Here is the 2025 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix race schedule, how to watch, what to know and more from our friends at KLAS Las Vegas 8 News Now:
Thursday, Nov. 20, will kick off the third running of the Heineken Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix on the iconic Las Vegas Strip.
The race will take place on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 8 p.m., an earlier start this year for the only nighttime race on the F1 circuit. Practice sessions begin late Thursday afternoon, and qualifying is Friday at 8 p.m.
The finale of the F1 Academy season, the all-female series, will run on the same track, earlier on Saturday.
“The third season of the all-female series will reach its conclusion on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit as the first single-seater support series to race on the streets of the biggest stage in motorsport,” according to F1’s website. You can find the roster of 17 drivers here.
Las Vegas was added to the F1 schedule in 2023 on a three-year contract. The race later renewed its Las Vegas contract, extended it two years through 2027.

How to watch the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix
Thursday, Nov. 20: The Free Practice Race 1 will air on ESPN+ and ESPNEWS at 4:30 p.m. PT. The Free Practice Race 2 will air on ESPN2 at 8 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 21: The Free Practice 3 will air at 4:30 p.m. PT on ESPN+ and ESPNEWS. The Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix Qualifying race will air at 8 p.m. PT on ESPN2.
Saturday, Nov. 22: The Heineken Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix race will air on ESPN at 8 p.m. PT.
