The World Party Parade, a celebration of love, unity, dance music culture and 30 years of the Electric Daisy Carnival (the first EDC Las Vegas at Las Vegas Motor Speedway was in 2011), takes over the Las Vegas Strip at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 14, and the all-ages celebration is free.
There will be 30+ art cars, moving renegade sound systems, hundreds of colorful performers and more. Prepare properly: Expect bright sun and smiles, and attendees are encouraged to bring hats, fans, sunscreen, water, hydration packs and comfortable dancing shoes.
From Insomniac Events, EDC and World Parade Founder Pasquale Rotella:
“World Party Parade is unlike anything we’ve done before. Bringing people together to celebrate dance music culture right on the Las Vegas Strip through a music parade is something we’ve dreamed about for a long time.
“Opening this up as a free experience means more people can be part of it and feel that connection, energy and sense of community. This is about giving back to the culture, to the community and to the City of Vegas, which has been such an important part of our journey.
“The Insomniac team and I couldn’t be more excited to share this moment with all of you.”
