Remember the craze for White Castle, the mini burgers that could be consumed in two easy bites? Attend any food festival with White Castle, and expect long lines to buy a case of them?

Then I see those same people carrying the burgers on their flight home. It was crazier back then.

At the height, White Castle had five locations in the Las Vegas Valley area, including nearby Jean, to satisfy that crave. But it’s 2026, and White Castle is shuttering two of its locations – one at Casino Royale on the Las Vegas Strip and one in Henderson.

I’ve ordered drive-thru at the Henderson location – in the middle of the day and late night – and it was never busy.

The three remaining White Castle locations: Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas across from Neonopolis, at Harmon and Koval across from Virgin Hotels Las Vegas west of the Las Vegas Strip and nearby Jean.

Remember the good ol’ days by grabbing some White Castle – I’m partial to the chicken, fish and dessert options, as well – and watch John Cho and Kal Penn’s original “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle.”
