Villa’s Tacos to Bring Estilo Los Angeles Flavors to Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas

“From the beginning, Villa’s Tacos has been rooted in family and tradition, with a deep respect for the ingredients and flavors that define our food,” said owner Victor Villa.

Durango Casino & Resort has announced that Villa’s Tacos will open at Eat Your Heart Out this summer. Marking its first location outside Los Angeles, the taqueria founded by Chef Victor Villa will bring its tacos Estilo Los Angeles identity to the Southwest Las Vegas resort.

Fans line up daily to enjoy the restaurant’s signature homemade blue corn tortillas, crispy Monterrey Jack cheese skirt and meat, guacamole, crema, cotija, onion and cilantro. A Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand destination and the only restaurant featured during Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in February, Villa’s Tacos is a destination known for its authentic cuisine and humble L.A. roots.

“As Durango continues to grow its culinary lineup, we’re proud to welcome sought-after concepts like Villa’s Tacos to the property,” said Durango VP and GM David Horn. “Their distinctive flavors, quality ingredients and strong connection to their community make them a natural fit for the property and a compelling new offering for our guests.”

From the front yard of his grandmother’s home to the streets of Highland Park, and now expanding to Las Vegas, Villa has carried his authentic flavors through every chapter. Rooted in tradition, quality and community, Villa’s Tacos is a staple in Southern California and will soon be a must-visit at its new home at Durango.

“From the beginning, Villa’s Tacos has been rooted in family and tradition, with a deep respect for the ingredients and flavors that define our food,” said owner Victor Villa. “We’re proud to bring that same approach to Durango and share what makes Villa’s Tacos special with a new community.”

Guests can look forward to Villa’s Tacos’ signature tacos, queso tacos and mulitas with chicken thighs, skirt steak, chorizo, grilled soyrizo, frijoles con nopal or papas a la plancha topped with radishes and lime wedges. Guests can also expect Villa’s fried baja fish taco, along with a new-to-the-menu wood-fired tacos al pastor prepared on a wood-burning grill.

This announcement follows Durango’s recent Phase III expansion reveal, which will introduce new dining, entertainment and gaming. Villa’s Tacos will be located in the former space of Fiorella. More: DurangoResort.com and @DurangoResort.
