More: Zuma Las Vegas Offers Summer Cocktails at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in July

The good life on the Las Vegas Strip can be equated to something as simple – and much-appreciated – as an exceptional dinner with equally exceptional and true friends.

On the evening of Tuesday, July 7, with my brother Charles Chareunsy and our longtime Las Vegas friends Robert Kachelriess + Mary Kachelriess on the Las Vegas Strip in The Entertainment Capital of the World:

Zuma Las Vegas at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to imbibe three summer cocktails available through July 31:

• Coconut Negroni with coconut mochi garnish (definitely the first time for that dessert atop a cocktail)
• Salted Plum Margarita with salt foam – who doesn’t love a little salt foam for flavor and photos?
• Choto-Mato Sour with cherry tomato garnish – also a first-time cocktail topper – and savory to boot.

The three limited-time libations: Inventive + beautiful!

I attended the grand opening of Zuma Las Vegas in January 2017 – a man who looked very much like Tommy Hilfiger was seated near us – and have returned at least and only once since the celebration.

I’ve been missing out at Zuma Las Vegas in the modern and sexy – but not over-the-top – Las Vegas Strip restaurant.

The four of us ordered a curated and specialized omakase dinner, along with the three seasonal cocktails, which included:

• Glasses of champagne to start dinner in style
• Wagyu steak
• Two lobster dishes – when was the last time dinner included two lobsters? Possibly never!
• Sushi, sashimi and gyoza
• And a stunning, divine and decadent dessert platter that included spears of lychee. Yum!

A tip of the toque to General Manager Struan Whiteley, the self-described ginger from Scotland with the awesome first name who most recently was at Zuma London before moving to Las Vegas, and friendly and excellent server Guillermo.
