Stix Asia will offer 12 concepts representing cuisines from Asia, including an original cocktail destination featuring modern mixology.
Stix Asia, opening this winter at UnCommons in Southwest Las Vegas, has revealed its first culinary partners for the food hall. Setting the foundation for the 18,000-square-foot dining area are three restaurants opening their first mainland U.S. locations. They include the tonkatsu favorite Ginza Bairin, Tokyo ramen shop Ramen Bario and Tokyo omusubi restaurant Nanamusubi.
“Every partner joining Stix Asia was selected because it represents the craftsmanship, heritage and hospitality that make Asian cuisine so special,” said Stix Asia CEO, founder and creator Frank Clark.
“These first culinary destinations each bring a unique story, deep cultural roots and a passion for their craft. Together, they represent the foundation of a destination that celebrates the flavors, creativity and hospitality of Asia.”
Ginza Bairin, founded in Tokyo in 1927, has nearly a century of history. Known as the originator of the katsu sandwich, Ginza Bairin has also pioneered bite-sized hitokuchi-katsu and its signature tonkatsu sauce. Through generations, the restaurant has preserved its dedication to craftsmanship, quality and authentic Japanese tonkatsu. In 2027, Ginza Bairin will celebrate its 100th anniversary.

Ramen Bario is a Tokyo-born tonkotsu ramen destination with a cult following for its broth. Ramen Bario in nearly two decades has built its reputation around a pork bone broth that simmers for more than 20 hours. Each bowl showcases al dente noodles for a balance of taste and texture.
Ramen Bario’s menu also features specialty tsukemen, or dipping noodles, to pair with its broth. In addition to four locations in Tokyo, Ramen Bario operates one location at Stix Asia Waikiki in Hawaii. (Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen from Ramen Bario is pictured in the main photo.)
“I am very excited to expand Ramen Bario to Las Vegas with Stix Asia, following our Waikiki location,” said owner Hayato Ohtake. “Our Tokyo-style tonkotsu ramen features a rich pork bone broth that has been continuously replenished each day since our founding in Tokyo in 2010. Prepared by artisans trained at our Tokyo flagship, each bowl will bring the authentic taste and tradition of Ramen Bario to a new community.”

Founded in Tokyo in 2016, Nanamusubi originated the organic musubi concept using premium organic rice imported from Japan. Selected for its natural aroma, delicate texture and sweet, subtle flavor, the rice is offered in white, ancient grain and brown varieties and paired with traditional fillings.
The combination of carefully selected ingredients and skilled craftsmanship transforms the everyday staple into a bite-sized taste of Japan. Upon opening, Nanamusubi, which has locations in Tokyo and at Stix Asia Waikiki in Hawaii, will be the only organic musubi shop in Las Vegas.
“At Nanamusubi, we use Koshihikari rice from Niigata Prefecture, Japan’s leading producer of the variety. Our rice is organically grown in a single designated area within the city of Shibata,” said owner Kazuto Kutami. “As we prepare to open our first mainland U.S. location, we look forward to sharing the authentic taste of omusubi with Las Vegas.”

In total, Stix Asia will offer a lineup of 12 concepts representing cuisines from throughout Asia, including an original cocktail destination featuring modern mixology and Asian spirits, an authentic Japanese bakery offering traditional baked goods and desserts and a Tokyo Neapolitan pizza concept. More information about each concept will be announced in the coming months.
This will be the second Stix Asia food hall, founded in Waikiki in 2022. Stix Asia Las Vegas is designed by Machiseisakushitsu Co. Ltd. and Studio ForestBeach, a Southern California studio specializing in Japanese design. Construction is being handled by Las Vegas-based Harris Associates. Restaurateurs interested in joining Stix Asia may contact CBRE Las Vegas for leasing inquiries.
