Multiplatinum artist Sam Barber has added five dates to his “The American Route Tour,” including a return to The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas this National Finals Rodeo season. After his venue debut last year, Barber will make his return to The Theater on Saturday, Dec. 12. Tickets for this performance go on sale on Friday, May 8, at 10 a.m. PT on AXS.com.

The shows continue a breakout year for Barber, who performed an “incredibly moving set” (The Desert Sun) this past weekend at Stagecoach, and released his sophomore album, “Broken View,” in March via Atlantic Outpost to acclaim.

Co-written and co-produced by Barber and Joe Becker (“Indigo,” “Straight and Narrow”) with additional songs co-produced with Aaron Dessner at Long Pond Studio, “Broken View” serves as a sweeping and introspective reflection on life’s complexities, exploring themes of love, loss and self-discovery.
