The menu will keep things simple and centered on the bagel. Guests can order bags in counts of three, six, 12 or 30, with additional bagels $3 each.
Bagel lovers in the Las Vegas Valley will soon have a new morning destination. Local operators Gary Rubenyan and Raffi Babaian of Lucky Bagel will open the first PopUp Bagels in Nevada on Friday, Aug. 28, bringing the concept to Henderson at 1685 E. Cactus Ave. near St. Rose Parkwa y and Spencer Street.
The location will open at 7 a.m. with a grand-opening celebration featuring a DJ, branded giveaways and opportunities for guests to win PopUp Bagels merchandise. The new shop will serve as the first of seven planned PopUp Bagels in Nevada, with Rubenyan and Babaian leading the brand’s expansion.
“We’re excited to finally bring PopUp Bagels to the Las Vegas Valley and make Henderson our first home in Nevada,” said Rubenyan, PopUp Bagels owner and Lucky Bagel Nevada partner. “We wanted to bring something that felt different to the local breakfast scene, a place where people can grab a fresh bagel on the way to work, pick up a dozen for the office or make it part of their weekend routine.”
The menu will keep things simple and centered on the bagel. Guests can order bags in counts of three, six, 12 or 30, with additional bagels $3 each. Bagel flavors include plain, everything, poppy seed, salt and sesame. PopUp Bagels serves bagels whole and hot from the oven, encouraging guests to tear them apart.
Schmear options include plain and scallion, and butter selections include salted butter and brown sugar cinnamon butter. The menu features weekly schmear and butter specials. Juices, iced teas, coffee and cold brew round out the menu.
The concept’s approach has been coined the Grip. Rip. Dip. For Henderson residents, the location will offer advance pickup and catering, making it convenient for everything from weekday breakfasts and office meetings to larger gatherings.
“We see a lot of opportunity in Nevada, but we’re not looking to rush it,” said Rubenyan. “Our goal is to grow thoughtfully, get to know the communities we’re entering and build places people genuinely want to come back to.”
PopUp Bagels was founded by Adam Goldberg in Connecticut in 2021 and has since expanded into markets across the U.S. PopUp Bagels will be open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. More: PopUpBagels.com and follow on Facebook and Instagram
