Legendary former football coach turned sportscaster Urban Meyer was on the sidelines, and Tom Donoghue reports that Meyer “loved my Michigan shirt.”
The UNLV Rebels football team lost to the Memphis Tigers 27-20 in the season opener at Allegiant Stadium west of the Las Vegas Strip in the evening of Saturday, Aug. 29.
Longtime Las Vegas photographer Tom Donoghue was at the football game and said that the loss was before 31,384 at Allegiant Stadium.
This is the second season for UNLV Rebels Coach Dan Mullen and the first start for Rebel Quarterback Jason Arnold (11).
