Good Pie, the acclaimed Brooklyn-style pizza concept best known for its signature Grandma Pie, celebrated the grand opening of its newest location Good Pie Pizza Shop in the food court at Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Summerlin on Monday, May 11.
The opening day welcomed guests to experience the brand’s third Southern Nevada location during an afternoon filled of pizza, raffle giveaways, swag and prizes, including free pizza for a year awarded to the first three guests in line.
The turnout exceeded expectations, with hundreds of guests lining up throughout the day, with some waiting in line for more than 12 hours just for the chance to be among the first to experience the new location and secure free pizza for a year.
Throughout the celebration, founder Vincent Rotolo and the Good Pie team handed out branded merchandise including hats, T-shirts and tote bags, along with gift cards and raffle prizes.
Guests sampled the pizzeria’s signature Grandma-style pies, authentic Brooklyn-style slices made with fresh mozzarella imported from New York, Detroit and Sicilian squares and the debut of the new White Pie Remix only at Red Rock.
The new Red Rock location marks Good Pie’s latest elevated quick-service concept rooted in old New York traditions, artisan-baking methods and premium ingredients, serving slices and whole pies for dine-in and takeout.
Since opening its first location in Downtown Las Vegas in 2018, Good Pie has become one of Las Vegas’ most recognized pizza brands, earning national recognition through appearances on “Chopped” and “Food Paradise.”
Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy praised Good Pie as one of the top pizzas in the city. Good Pie’s second location in the Las Vegas Valley is located in Henderson near St. Rose Parkway and Seven Hills and is the largest of the three restaurants.
