“Fantasy: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease,” the award-winning female revue at Luxor Hotel & Casino, celebrated 27 years on the Las Vegas Strip on Wednesday, Oct. 14, with a glamorous red carpet and anniversary show in The Atrium Showroom.

The evening marked the debut of “Fantasy’s” 2027 calendar “Lights, Camera … Fantasy” featuring photography by Oscar Picazo inspired by the production’s choreography and designed by Shannon Hammitt. Proceeds from calendar sales will benefit Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas, supporting its mission to preserve the history, artistry and cultural impact of the Las Vegas showgirl.

The calendar debut follows another contribution to the museum this year. “Fantasy” donated costumes from its 1999 debut to Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas, in honor of National Showgirl Day. The donation joined the museum’s collection dedicated to the performers, artistry and traditions.

Emmy Award-winning creator, producer, director and choreographer Anita Mann celebrated alongside the cast and creative team, including Lorena Peril (vocalist), Mariah Nieslanik (co-producer and featured dancer) and Ashton Bray (performance director and featured dancer), and MGM Resorts International and Luxor Hotel executives and officials.

The performance introduced additions to “Fantasy,” including “Black Car” by Leon Else choreographed by former cast member and current Voltaire Resident Director Yesi Burgess, and a fiery twist to fan-favorite “Suavemente.” Added for the 25th anniversary in 2024, dancer Talia Rose incorporates fire eating.

The red carpet included magician Murray SawChuck; District 78 founders Chris Lightbody and Bob Steinmiller (“Fantasy’s” “Fantasy Come True,” “Dancing With the Stars”; former “Fantasy” cast; and Chippendales, Thunder From Down Under, “Michael Jackson One,” “Vegas! The Show” and “Mind2Mind” cast members.
