Legendary singer-songwriter Paul Anka, widely known for writing iconic hits such as “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “Diana,” “She’s a Lady” and “My Way,” will headline Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort on Saturday, May 16, at 7:30 p.m. 

Pre-sales for “Paul Anka: A Man and His Music” will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale Friday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m. PT. Tickets starting at $65 (not including applicable service charges and fees) will be available at AXS.com.

Anka, 84, is one of the most prolific singer-songwriters in popular music history. He rose to international fame at age 15 with his first No. 1 hit “Diana,” launching a career that has spanned more than seven decades.

A gifted songwriter as well as performer, Anka penned classics for himself and others, including “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore” for Buddy Holly, the Academy Award-nominated theme for “The Longest Day” and the iconic “Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” theme.

In the late 1960s, he wrote “My Way” for Frank Sinatra, cementing his place in music history. Throughout the 1970s and beyond, Anka continued to dominate the charts with hits including “(You’re) Having My Baby,” “Times of Your Life” and “Don’t Like to Sleep Alone.” 

His influence extended across generations through successful albums including “Rock Swings” “Duets,” and “Classic Songs, My Way,” with “Duets” making Billboard history by placing Anka on the Top 100 chart for seven consecutive decades.

Anka has collaborated with major artists including Michael Jackson, Céline Dion, Tom Jones, Drake, Justin Timberlake and Michael Bublé. His co-written songs with Jackson include the worldwide No. 1 hits “This Is It,” “Love Never Felt So Good” and “Don’t Matter to Me.”

In addition to his recording achievements, Anka is a The New York Times bestselling author (“My Way”) and continues to perform and create, remaining a timeless icon of popular music.
