Inspired by Palms’ new brand campaign This Is That Vegas by L.A.-based agency Brains, 55 Stories of Fame transforms unforgettable moments into larger-than-life memories.
Rising 55 stories above the Las Vegas skyline, Palms Casino Resort is introducing 55 Stories of Fame – the first This Is That Vegas experience – an immersive new activation that gives guests attending select Palms events the opportunity to see themselves featured live on the resort’s iconic Tall Wall.
Inspired by Palms’ new brand campaign This Is That Vegas by L.A.-based agency Brains, 55 Stories of Fame transforms unforgettable moments into larger-than-life memories. The experience turns guests into the stars of one of Las Vegas’ most recognizable digital landmarks from a moment that could only happen at Palms.
55 Stories of Fame is the first public expression of This Is That Vegas launched this year. The platform spans a new brand identity, hero film, integrated marketing and guest experiences designed to bring the brand to life on and off property.
The Tall Wall becomes part of the experience. Using photography technology, guests participating in activations will see their images projected across the 55-story exterior tower, transforming a photograph into a Las Vegas memory.
“Las Vegas is all about unforgettable moments, and that’s exactly what we’re creating with 55 Stories of Fame,” said Palms Marketing & Entertainment Vice President Crystal Robinson-Wesley. “Seeing yourself light up one of the most recognizable landmarks in Las Vegas is something you’ll never forget.”
55 Stories of Fame officially debuted on Friday, Aug. 7, during a Vegas Girl Events | Girl Dinner at Scotch 80 Prime, where attendees became the first to experience the activation.
“This Is That Vegas was never meant to be just an advertising campaign,” said Brains Creative Director Matt Gray. “It was designed to become a collection of experiences that surprise people, spark emotion and create stories they’ll tell long after they leave Las Vegas.
“55 Stories of Fame is the first expression of that idea. One minute you’re enjoying an incredible night at Palms, and the next you’re looking up to see yourself 55 stories above the city. This is not just another photo opportunity – This Is That Vegas.”
