On Friday, May 29, Nocturno Cocktail Bar will celebrate its first anniversary in The Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas, marking a breakout first year that’s quickly positioned it as one of the city’s most exciting cocktail destinations.
In just 12 months, Nocturno has built a loyal following, earned national recognition and brought bars from San Diego to Mexico City into the space for pop-ups, helping put Las Vegas even more firmly on the global cocktail map.
A Standout First Year
- Bar Director Lu Lopez was named to Beverage Information Group’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2026
- Founder DJ Flores was recognized as a Rising Star Restaurateur in the StarChefs Las Vegas 2026 Awards
- Nocturno was named a semifinalist for the James Beard Award for Best New Bar
- Nocturno was also recognized as a Top 10 Regional Honoree for Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar at the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards (with finalists still to be announced)
- Hosted pop-ups with globally recognized bars including Rayo (Mexico City) and Raised By Wolves (San Diego)
The celebration kicks off at 5 p.m. featuring a series of brand activations from partners including Campari, Producer and Brown-Forman. Guests can expect:
- A new mural unveiling and celebratory toast
- Pop-up experiences and interactive moments throughout the space
- On-site flash tattoos from local artist Bri Ferguson (@MarkOfTheBriest), including $40 Nocturno-themed designs and raffle giveaways
Activations will run during the first few hours of the evening, with lounge seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
