With Valentine’s Day around the corner and love already filling the air across Las Vegas, New York chef Tal Aboav, Executive Chef of The Bordeaux Group, created a moment right out of a romantic fairytale by proposing to his longtime partner Hannah Strerenberg during a performance of “WOW – The Vegas Spectacular” at Rio Hotel & Casino.

As the city warmed up to Valentine’s Day celebrations, Aboav surprised Strerenberg mid-performance dropping to one knee amid the theatrical magic that has made “WOW” one of Las Vegas’ most visually stunning shows. The audience erupted in cheers as she said yes, turning an already electric evening into an unforgettable declaration of love.

Producers of “WOW – The Vegas Spectacular” welcomed the surprise. “We love when our show becomes part of a real-life love story,” said Sheer Davidai, Resident and Artistic Director of “WOW. ““With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, this was the perfect reminder that love belongs center stage.”

As the curtain fell, the newly engaged couple celebrated with cast members and fellow audience members alike – proving that in Las Vegas, romance doesn’t wait for Feb. 14 to make magic happen.
