“We’re proud to celebrate Disability Pride Month with New Vista again this year and look forward to raising funds to help people lead confident and fulfilling lives.”
In honor of Disability Pride Month this month of July, New Vista, Nevada’s largest nonprofit provider of supported-living arrangements for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is partnering with Las Vegas-based Carl’s Donuts for the second year in a row to host a doughnut donation campaign that spotlights and supports individuals living with disabilities.
Raising dough never tasted so sweet. Throughout the month of July, Las Vegas’ donut destination Carl’s Donuts will donate 100% of the proceeds from every purchase of their New Vista Donut, a delicious vanilla doughnut iced with yellow frosting, topped with sprinkles in New Vista’s signature blue and yellow disability awareness colors, to New Vista in support of vital services, training and housing for individuals living with IDD in Southern Nevada.

“At Carl’s Donuts, we’re always looking for meaningful ways to support our community,” says Amber Ramsay, operating partner of Carl’s Donuts and Carl’s granddaughter. “We’re proud to celebrate Disability Pride Month with New Vista again this year and look forward to raising funds to help people lead confident and fulfilling lives.”
The festive treat will be proudly renamed the New Vista Donut and will be available to purchase for $3 beginning Wednesday, July 1. Every doughnut sold will help uplift and empower individuals with disabilities through New Vista’s year-round services and programs.
