I love the ambience and design – the wishing tree, honeycomb and birdcage (where we sat) tables, lovely ramen bowls and spoons and natural lighting.
I absolutely love the new Kyuramen + TBaar that just opened in Henderson at 10170 S. Eastern Ave. in December. Other residents and customers are fans, as well, as it can be a long wait for dinner; my family tried during the holidays, and it was 90 minutes! It still is 90 minutes at times.
Kyuramen is a successful chain, but I had never heard of it until it opened less than 5 minutes from home in Henderson. It was love at first site and slurp, and I can’t wait to return, partly because it’s conveniently located in the neighborhood and it’s cold AF in the evening right now.

Lunch at Kyuramen on the morning of Monday, Jan. 12, with my brother Charles Chareunsy, who oftentimes serves as photographer and videographer – it was an awesome way to start the week:
- Excellent food: Yinyang Bowl (Tonkotsu Shouyu and Miso Ramen creatively served in one split bowl), Pork Tonkatsu Omurice (omelet + rice!), Curry Ramen, popcorn chicken, deep-fried gyoza dumplings, Kyuramen pork and chicken bao buns, Cherry Blossom Jelly, Macha tiramisu, Thai iced teas and passionfruit bobas. Yes, we most definitely had leftovers.
- Excellent service: Main server Anthony and supporting team Emily, Jake and Evan were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.
- Excellent environment: I love the ambience and design – the wishing tree, honeycomb and birdcage (where we sat) tables, lovely ramen bowls and spoons and natural lighting.

The second Kyuramen is set to open in Chinatown in early spring. Pro tip: There was no wait when we arrived at 11 a.m. Monday for an early lunch. Good luck at dinnertime!
