The beauty of George Balanchine’s “Serenade” returns to the stage, transporting audiences through sweeping choreography, lyrical grace and profound emotion as Nevada Ballet Theatre begins its 2026-2027 season at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Las Vegas from Oct. 2-4.

Widely celebrated as one of Balanchine’s greatest masterpieces, “Serenade” brings Tchaikovsky’s soaring score to life in a luminous display of artistry and movement that continues to inspire generations at the celebrated performing arts center in Symphony Park.

Then, the energy transforms. Nicolo Fonte’s “Carmina Burana” ignites the Reynolds Hall stage with the electrifying force of Carl Orff’s iconic score, blending powerful choreography with the grandeur of live music and song.

Performed alongside the Las Vegas Philharmonic and Las Vegas Master Singers, this production amplifies the music’s dramatic intensity, as orchestra, choir and NBT’s Company Artists unite in a thrilling showcase of passion, power and spectacle.
