The community-driven, nonprofit event operates through sponsorships, donations and volunteers. This year’s event will be hosted by actor and comic Jeff Leach.
The 12th Annual Military, Veterans & First Responders Appreciation Day returns on Saturday, Oct. 17, and invites the Las Vegas community to gather in celebration and gratitude for the brave men and women who serve and protect our country. The free, family‑friendly is 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at Craig Ranch Regional Park at 628 W. Craig Road in North Las Vegas.
The event once again honors the sacrifices and service of military personnel, veterans, first responders and their families with entertainment, activities and community connection. Guests can enjoy live performances, food vendors, family activities and special tributes throughout the day.
Hosted by actor and comedian Jeff Leach, the celebration will feature appearances and performances from Emmy Award‑winning actor and comedian Brad Garrett, Las Vegas’ own DJ Bonics, former Las Vegas Raiders standout and Jim Thorpe Award winner Trey Taylor, country rock band Thrillbilly Deluxe and more. Also:
- A car show presented by Las Vegas Cruisin’ Association
- Wheels 4 Warriors + Chapter 41‑1 Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association
- “Riderless Horse Tribute to the Fallen” from Horses 4 Heroes
- Battle of the Branches competition
- Family activities, including video gaming tent and museum in the Kid Zone
- Food trucks
- Free food for veterans, military personnel and first responders
- Additional demonstrations, vendors and family‑friendly activities
