After months of rumors and speculation, it was announced today that Metallica will debut its “Life Burns Faster” residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, and the eight-show run will take place on Oct. 1, 3, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 and 31.

The dates continue the No Repeat Weekend tradition that began with the 2023 kickoff of “The M72 World Tour,” with no songs repeated on each Thursday and Saturday during the run.

Metallica’s new and unique live experiences have seen the band play to millions of fans across all seven continents in every shape and size of venue. Their “M72 Tour” has played to more than 4 million fans from Europe and North America to the Pacific Rim and Middle East since its start.

The performances and production have been hailed as among the best of Metallica’s 40+ years. The Sphere residency will see staples and surprises spanning the Metallica catalog enhanced by the venue’s immersive technologies.
