The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded Maverick Helicopters the 2025 Diamond Award of Excellence in each of its locations including Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii and California. The accolade is awarded by the FAA to companies with the highest level of maintenance, training and aircraft safety standards and is the top honor for aviation maintenance technicians.

This marks Maverick Helicopters’ 15th consecutive year earning the Diamond Award for its Nevada and Arizona locations and 11th consecutive award for its Hawaii operations. Maverick Helicopters also earned the award in its third year in operation in California. All technicians across Maverick Helicopters’ maintenance team obtained individual awards through a diverse range of continued education.

This past year, Maverick Helicopters technicians logged approximately 650 total hours of training. “We take immense pride in our commitment to safety and maintenance,” said Tim Hoffman, director of maintenance at Maverick Helicopters. “These honors underscore that dedication, and we are grateful for the industry’s recognition of our maintenance team’s outstanding work.”

The award was created to recognize aviation operators who participate in the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician Awards Program. The program encourages employers to take part in programs in aviation maintenance, regulations and FAA rules. Each participating organization can receive honors ranging from Gold Award to Diamond Award. The Diamond Award is awarded only to a select few operators.
