M Resort Spa Casino has announced that comedienne, actress, musician and advocate Margaret Cho will take the stage at The M Pavilion on Friday, Feb. 14, for a Valentine’s Day performance filled with laughter, wit and unapologetic authenticity.

A five-time Grammy and Emmy nominee, Cho has built a career defined by her fearless voice and sharp comedic insight. With more than 10 acclaimed standup tours, she continues to inspire audiences around the world through humor that celebrates identity, challenges social norms and uplifts marginalized voices.

Recognized by Vogue as one of the “9 Best Female Comedians of All Time” alongside Joan Rivers, Gilda Radner and Wanda Sykes, Cho remains a cultural trailblazer who blends comedy with activism.

She is a steadfast supporter of causes including anti-racism, anti-bullying and LGBTQ+ rights, using her comedy and celebrity platform to advocate for equality and self-expression.

Cho’s career extends beyond the stage. TV and film credits include “Fire Island,” the Ryan Murphy series “Doctor Odyssey” and appearances on “The Flight Attendant” and “Hacks” both on HBO Max. She also appears in two “Netflix Is a Joke” comedy specials, including “Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution.”

Her latest film, “All That We Love,” premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival to critical acclaim. Up next, Cho will star as Wasp, one of the Gray Sisters, in Season 2 of Disney’s “Percy Jackson and The Olympians,” as well as in Gregg Araki’s upcoming thriller “I Want Your Sex.”

Reflecting on her journey, Cho says, “I think comedians in general, we get better as we get older, and we kind of get more observant, and more astute in those observations.”

With her production company, Animal Family Productions, developing multiple scripted shows for 2024 and beyond, Cho’s creative evolution continues to flourish.

Tickets for “Margaret Cho: Choligarchy” start at $29, plus taxes and fees, and go on sale Friday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. at TheMResort.com and Ticketmaster.com.
