Lou Gramm to Host Signing at ‘Foreigner: The Hits Orchestral’ at The Venetian Las Vegas March 6-7

Foreigner’s orchestral concerts will be a celebration of the band’s 50th anniversary and provide a chance to experience their hits with a 20-piece orchestra.

Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and original Foreigner frontman Lou Gramm will host the first two shows of the band’s new orchestral concert series “Foreigner: The Hits Orchestral – Celebrating 50 Years Live in Vegas” at The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7.

Gramm also will host a VIP book signing before both dates. Limited to 20 guests per night, the experience includes a VIP meet-and-greet with Gramm, a personalized copy of his book “Juke Box Hero” and a photo opportunity. VIP tickets are available to ticketholders and $250, plus tax. Tickets are here.

“It’s a personal thrill for me to be hosting Foreigner’s opening weekend at the wonderful Venetia,” said Gramm. “It’s a true delight to witness Foreigner performing all the hits with Dave Eggar’s amazing orchestra, and I am so looking forward to welcoming many concertgoers at my book-signing event.”

“I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Cold as Ice,” “Waiting for A Girl Like You,” “Hot Blooded.” Foreigner’s anthems have been covered by Mariah Carey, Kenny Chesney, Lil Wayne, Daughtry, Wynonna Judd, B.o.B, French Montana and more, but the band has reinterpreted these songs with an orchestra.

Performances are scheduled for March 6, 7, 11 and 13-14 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $55, plus fees, and are available at any box office at The Venetian, Ticketmaster.comVenetianLasVegas.com, (702) 414.9000 and (866) 641-7469.

Foreigner’s orchestral concerts will be a celebration of the band’s 50th anniversary and provide a chance to experience their hits with a 20-piece orchestra playing arrangements written by cello virtuoso Dave Eggar (Beyonce, Coldplay, Amy Winehouse, Paul Simon) and Chuck Palmer, who will also conduct.

Foreigner’s love for orchestral performance of their hit songs began in Switzerland in 2017 when they appeared in Lucerne with the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. The TV special can be seen on PBS. They toured the show globally, culminating with a sold-out appearance at the Sydney Opera House.
