Sponge, the U.S. alternative rock band formed in Detroit in 1992, rose to prominence with its platinum-selling debut album “Rotting Piñata” and hit single “Plowed.”
1990s rock favorites Lit and guest Sponge will celebrate nearly 30 years of hits at Bel-Aire Backyard at Durango Casino & Resort on Saturday, Oct. 3, as part of the “Poolside Concert Series” presented by Clique Hospitality and AEG Presents: Las Vegas. Tickets, available on AXS.com, and VIP Cabanas go on sale Friday, July 31, at 10 a.m. PT.
Lit (in the main photo) emerged from the late ’90s post-grunge era as one of Southern California’s defining power punk bands, earning a devoted following with hard-charging hits including “My Own Worst Enemy,” which also received a Billboard Music Video Award nomination, as well as “Miserable,” “Zip-Lock” and “Lipstick & Bruises.”
Lit has released seven studio albums, including the RIAA-certified platinum record “A Place in the Sun,” and is writing and recording new material and continuing to bring its signature sound to live audiences.

Guests can elevate their experience with a poolside cabana, which includes 10 tickets, seating, flat-screen TV, refrigerator stocked with soft drinks, exclusive entry to the VIP standing area, cabana host, mister system and ceiling fan.
Tickets start at $61.94, including fees before taxes. Pre-sale tickets for fan club members will be available Tuesday, July 28, at 10 a.m. PT. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show kicks off at 8 p.m.
