This Fourth of July weekend, consumers can celebrate America’s milestone birthday with free food.

This holiday weekend, chains including Sonic and Krispy Kreme are treating customers to buy one, get one free deals, semi-quincentennial-themed discounts and more tasty food promotions.

With America’s 250th birthday this weekend, here are some of the best food deals, discounts and freebies for the Fourth of July courtesy of People.com:

Wienerschnitzel

The most wanted wiener in America, aka the world’s most popular hot dog chain. For the Fourth of July: two hot dogs and fries for $4, funnel cake and cute swag.

Golden Corral

Beginning July 4, Golden Corral (pictured in the main image) is offering a $2.50 Kids Weekend Breakfast Buffet (with the purchase of an adult or senior breakfast buffet) available Saturdays and Sundays before 11 a.m. through July 26. July also features additional $2.50 value offers, bonus rewards opportunities and member deals, with even more savings planned throughout the remainder of 2026.

TGI Fridays

TGI Fridays is offering guests a free dessert with the purchase of an entrée, valid only on the holiday at participating locations across the U.S.

Denny’s

The beloved and longtime 24-hour diner is celebrating the semi-quincentennial by offering 50% off the Red, White and Berry Float. Denny’s rewards members can grab the deal from July 4-7.

GoPuff

Convenience delivery app GoPuff is offering a range of deals and discounts aimed at keeping cool on what’s expected to be, in many parts of the U.S., a scorcher of a holiday.

Customers can receive $4 off a $15 purchase of select ice cream brands; 2 for $8 Bomb Pop packs; 25% off JonnyPops products; 2 for $5 ICEE Cups; 20% off Snickers and Twix Ice Cream Bar Multipacks; and 2 for $12 Dr. Bombay Pints.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

Perhaps the main hallmark of the Fourth of July is barbecuing. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is helping friends and family experience the taste of the holiday with discounts: Code FIREWORKS earns customers $5 off orders of $25 or more online or in the app, while code JULY1776 offers $15 off orders of $75 or more.

DoorDash

With DoorDash, customers can snag a BOGO free deal on Pizza Hut’s Create Your Own Large Pizza and a BOGO Whopper Jr. at Burger King. The deals are available from July 2-8 for DashPass members.

Sonic

The beloved drive-in restaurant is getting especially patriotic for the occasion: Sonic has launched its America $2.50 menu, which offers fan-favorite menu items including the All-American 6” Hot Dog, Medium Onion Rings, Jr Double Cheeseburger and Red, White and Blue Slush Float for $2.50 each.

Additionally, there are limited-edition cups with every drink purchase this summer, and on July 4 itself, customers can get corn dogs for just $0.99. My longtime favorites: corn dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches and the Diet Cherry Limeade.

Great American Cookies

Veterans and active-duty military members with a military ID or veteran identification card can get a free Stars & Stripes Sprinkle Cookie from Great American Cookies from July 1-4.

Krispy Kreme

For customers who pull up to Krispy Kreme on July 4 wearing red, white and blue, the restaurant is offering a free Original Glazed doughnut limit one per guest.

Krispy Kreme is also offering $2.50 Original Glazed dozens with the purchase of any dozen or 16-count Minis through July 5. Plus, the brand has launched a patriotic doughnut collection featuring the new USA and Firework Doughnuts alongside returning favorites the Freedom Ring and Chocolate Iced with Patriotic Sprinkles doughnuts.

Firehouse Subs

Through July 4, customers of Firehouse Subs can buy one small or medium sub and get a second for $2.50. The offer does not apply to the restaurant’s Steak & Cheese Melt or Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket subs.

Jimmy John’s

To celebrate the land of BOGO free, starting on July 3, rewards members at Jimmy John’s can purchase a Toasted or Favorite 8-inch sandwich and receive another for free with the code FREEDOM.

Hardee’s

Hardee’s fans can get a free Star-Spangled Biscuit via the chain’s My Rewards app from July 3-5.

Benihana

Benihana is offering a $17.76 special that includes a double cheeseburger, fries and all-American apple crumble with vanilla ice cream.
