The inaugural Business of Her conference will take the spotlight on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Sahara Las Vegas, bringing together a dynamic group of women to empower, connect and inspire the next generation of female leaders.
Presented by Meruelo Group Chief Vision and Purpose Officer Alexis Meruelo, the one-day conference offers networking, workshops and a $10,000 grant opportunity for female entrepreneurs.
Headlining the speaker lineup is Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley, whose lifelong dedication to public service and leadership continues to inspire women across Nevada.
Speakers also include Angélica Vale, Latin actress and TV host; Lauren Lopez, Chief People Officer for the National Women’s Soccer League; Ericka Avilas, Founder of Latinas in Power; Nikki Fargas, President of the Las Vegas Aces; and Azin Radsan van Alebeek, Co-founder and General Partner of Emmeline Ventures.
Additionally: Catherine Gray, Executive Producer of the film “Show Her the Money”; Jes Wolfe, CEO and Chairwoman of Rebel Girls; Juanny Romero, CEO and Founder of Mothership Coffee Roasters; and Moncy Trejo, Digital Marketing and Branding Expert.

A highlight of the day will be the $10,000 Business of Her Grant Competition sponsored in part by Aristocrat Gaming in partnership with the Enthuse Foundation.
Three female-owned businesses will pitch their companies live on stage, with the winner announced during the evening Prosecco & Pinot Party at Azilo Ultra Lounge at Sahara.
Conference attendees can turn the event into a full girls’ getaway weekend with a hotel package at Sahara. The rate includes no resort fees for early registrants and is valid for stays Nov. 14-16.
Guests will also receive a 20% discount to see “Magic Mike Live” during the conference weekend, valid for performances Nov. 12-16 and subject to availability. Rooms are limited, and early booking is encouraged.
