SPI Entertainment has announced that Ikons of Rock, a high-energy, concert-style tribute to rock’s legendary artists, will debut at The Strat Hotel, Casino & Tower on the Las Vegas Strip on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Tickets are available at The Strat website and box office. 

Ikons of Rock is a 70-minute multimedia spectacular that brings together the sounds and spectacle of rock icons including KISS classics “Detroit Rock City” and “Rock N Roll All Nite,” Heart’s “Barracuda” and “Crazy on You,” Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Hysteria,” Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” and “No More Tears” and many more.

The production, most recently at Hard Rock Café on the Strip, features authentic costuming, powerhouse vocals, live musicianship and immersive visual effects designed to re-create the energy of a sold-out arena show in an intimate setting at The Strat Theater, which seats 603 guests, and is also home to “Rouge” and “Illuminate” atop The Strat.

The cast brings a lineup of mind-blowing, multi-talented performers to the stage each night. Darren Moore headlines the production and portrays many of the show’s male leads, drawing on a career that spans recording, film, television and a run in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame band Harlequin.

Moore is joined by Christelle Dussault, a touring solo artist and songwriter who has collaborated with hit-making team The Matrix; Rachel Kline, a two-time Best of Las Vegas winner who has become a fast favorite on the city’s live music scene since 2021; and Nannette Fortier, a drummer whose credits include Blue Man Group and Celine Dion’s world tour.

Also: Andy Gerald, known for his work with Marilyn Manson and Blue Man Group; Kurt “KK” Krezanski, a lead guitarist for touring rock and country acts; Drew Hart, a Las Vegas production band veteran who was a top 20 finalist to front Van Halen; and Rob Robbins, a guitarist and songwriter who has performed and recorded with Maxi Priest, Dave Mason and Moxy.

I have attended Ikons of Rock twice this year while it was at Hard Rock Café on the Strip and thoroughly enjoyed both performances. The cast rotates artists, so no two shows are exactly the same. Everyone is in top form – the singers and musicians – and the female singers and musicians especially rock. Iconic! It seems as if The Strat Theater will be a nice fit for Ikons of Rock.

“Ikons of Rock was built to give audiences the full arena concert experience up close with the authenticity and musicianship these legendary artists deserve,” said Moore. “Bringing the show to The Strat allows us to reach a whole new audience on the Strip, and we could not be more excited for what’s ahead.”

Ticket prices start at $73.02 for rear seating, with preferred seating, VIP tables and VIP booths also available. Showtime is 7 p.m., with the production dark on Mondays and other select dates.
