Human Rights Campaign Las Vegas Announces Eight Honorees for Gala at Durango on Aug. 22

HRC Las Vegas will honor eight recipients whose leadership, advocacy, compassion and unwavering commitment have helped shape and strengthen LGBTQ+ life in Nevada.

This year’s Human Rights Campaign Las Vegas Gala will be unlike any it has hosted. Traditionally, gala recognition moments honor one individual or organization.

This year, HRC Las Vegas will see something far more powerful: Leaders from LGBTQ+ organizations across Nevada standing together in unity. Not one by one. Together. That moment represents this year’s theme: Community = Power

At a time when LGBTQ+ communities across the country continue to face growing challenges, this year’s gala is an opportunity to celebrate resilience, visibility and the organizations who have spent decades serving and uplifting the community in Nevada.

Fredric Godinez and Alexander Stabler hosted the 2025 AFAN Black & White Party at Palms.

HRC Las Vegas will collectively honor eight organizations whose leadership, advocacy, compassion and unwavering commitment have helped shape and strengthen LGBTQ+ life in Nevada:

  • Abundant Peace United Church of Christ
  • Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN)
  • The Gavin J. Goorjian Community Health Center
  • Golden Rainbow
  • Las Vegas Pride
  • Silver State Equality
  • The Sin Sity Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence
  • The LGBTQ+ Center of Southern Nevada

Together, these organizations embody the spirit of Community = Power. For more information and ways to get involved and to purchase tickets, visit hrc.im/lasvegasdinner.
