Grant a Gift Autism Foundation Celebrates Second Southern Nevada Location in Henderson

As demand for autism services continues to grow across Southern Nevada, the additional space increases capacity and allows the organization to serve more families.

Grant a Gift Autism Foundation – Ackerman Center marked a major milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of its new Henderson location at 2270 Corporate Circle, Suite 150, on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

Community leaders, partners, board members, staff and families gathered for the celebration, which included remarks and presentations from Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero, representatives from Gov. Joe Lombardo’s office, Henderson Chamber of Commerce and Grant a Gift President and CEO Brian Hager.

The new facility expands access to occupational therapy and comprehensive applied behavior analysis programs for children, teens and young adults.

As demand for autism services continues to grow across Southern Nevada, the additional space increases capacity and allows the organization to serve more families navigating autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental diagnoses.

Since opening in 2016, the Ackerman Center has supported more than 15,000 local families. The Henderson expansion reflects the organization’s continuing commitment to increasing access to care and supporting families at every stage of their journey.

A reception followed the ceremony, giving attendees an opportunity to tour the new space and celebrate the center’s continued growth and impact.
