In this new installment, Sophia is out on bail after a run-in with the law, and Blanche and Rose have launched a risqué business venture for seniors.
Thank you for being a fan. The “Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue” ladies are heading to Las Vegas for the first time for two shows at the International Theater at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on Saturday, June 27, at 2 and 7 p.m.
Presented by Murray & Peter, “Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue” is an all-new show that brings Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia back together in a comedy that continues the story audiences know and love – with a fresh, modern twist.
In this new installment, Sophia is out on bail after a run-in with the law, and Blanche and Rose have launched a risqué business venture for seniors. Meanwhile, Dorothy struggles to keep things on track with help from a new romance.
The result is an evening with wit, humor and the chemistry that made “The Golden Girls” a hit. Performed by actors in a theatrical tribute-style production, the show captures the essence of the series and delivers a high-energy live experience.
Adding to the nostalgia, guest Cindy Fee, the original singer of the iconic theme song “Thank You for Being a Friend,” will appear at each performance to perform the beloved track live.
A memorabilia display featuring original set pieces and costumes from “The Golden Girls” will be showcased near Viva, offering fans a rare opportunity to step into the world of the show before and after the performance.
“Westgate has always been home to legendary entertainment, and ‘Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue’ is a perfect addition to our iconic stage,” said Westgate SVP of Marketing and Entertainment Dawn Rawle. “This show brings together comedy, nostalgia and a multigenerational fan base for a truly unforgettable night.”
“We’ve seen audiences across the country embrace this show with incredible enthusiasm,” said Murray Hodgson of Murray & Peter Present. “ ‘Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue’ is a celebration of characters people know and love, and we’re thrilled to bring this production to such an iconic venue.”
