Fontainebleau Las Vegas Celebrates New Year’s Weekend With Alanis + Train

In 2025, Morissette debuted the first iteration of “Butterfly With a Machete” in eight sold-out nights at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip will ring in 2027 with a star-studded New Year’s weekend lineup at BleauLive Theater. Grammy Award-winning artist Alanis Morissette will kick off the celebration on Friday, Jan. 1, followed by Grammy-winning, Diamond-selling Train on Saturday, Jan. 2.

Pre-sales for both performances will take place ahead of the general on-sale beginning Friday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m. PT at FontainebleauLasVegas.com/entertainment/alanis-morissette/ and FontainebleauLasVegas.com/entertainment/train/.

Since 1995, Morissette has been one of the most influential singer-songwriter-musicians in contemporary music. Her expressive music and performances have earned critical praise and seven Grammys. Morissette’s 1995 album “Jagged Little Pill” was a tour de force that changed the sound of pop music around the world. It was followed by nine more eclectic and acclaimed albums.

Canadian Morissette has contributed musically to theatrical releases and has acted on the big and small screen. In 2025, she debuted the first iteration of “Butterfly With a Machete” over eight sold-out nights at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. In 2026, she and Taylor Swift were honored at the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame.

Train frontman Pat Monihan.

Since their formation in 1994, Train has sold more than 10 million albums and 30 million tracks, amassing more than 6 billion streams. Train’s climb to the top began in San Francisco, as the original five-member band built a hometown following leading up to their debut self-titled album released by Columbia in 1998. “Meet Virginia’” gave them their first unlikely radio hit.

Their 2001 album ”Drops of Jupiter”  broke them to multiplatinum status. Alongside “Hey, Soul Sister” and “Drops of Jupiter,” Train, with frontman Pat Monahan, has had 14 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 and 13 albums on the Billboard 200. Train has won three Grammys and released their 12th studio album ”Mad Dog in the Fog” on Aug. 28.
