Named by Billboard as one of the 26 Latin Artists to Watch in 2026, Chuwi are solidifying their place as a rising force in Latin music. Already earning their first nomination at the 2026 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards for The Perfect Mix of the Year, the group blends cultural roots with contemporary sounds that resonate for fans.

Formed in Isabela, Puerto Rico, the quartet is composed of siblings Lorén, Willy and Wester Aldarondo and longtime family friend Adrián López. Together, they infuse traditional Puerto Rican sounds with modern creativity, crafting a distinctive musical identity that connects with listeners worldwide.
Chuwi’s breakout arrived with “Weltita” featured on Bad Bunny’s Grammy-winning Album of the Year “DtMF” and performed during his “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” residency, catapulting the group onto the international stage. Building on that momentum, they embarked on their first U.S. headlining tour in 2025.
Highlights from 2025 include a Latin Grammy Awards performance, Tiny Desk set for Latin Music Month and serving as the official opening act on Bad Bunny’s tour across the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia and upcoming shows in Argentina, Brazil and Australia.
With more than 8.7 million monthly Spotify listeners and growing global recognition, Chuwi continue to evolve as one of Puerto Rico’s most authentic and dynamic contemporary acts, carrying the island’s spirit into a new musical era.
