Christopher Lowell’s ‘Thirty-One Days’ at Freyboy Art Salon Through April 24

As a photographer, Lowell’s work has been featured in the Sovereign Collection and Elton John Collection, as well as in Interview Magazine, Glamour and Vanity Fair.

“ … a single month for most, but a lifetime for those of us who are butterflies.” This is the mythical, Edenic experience of Christopher Lowell’s “Thirty-One Days,” an interpretation and exploration of one final month steeped in the actor and photographer’s childhood home.

The American South, often lost in time, is brought into black-and-white relief, absent of contextual clues, but rich in tactile, breathable emotion. Every image is a memory made infinite by its capture.

Lowell, a star on television, films and the stage, just concluded a successful run on Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize finalist “Marjorie Prime” opposite Cynthia Nixon and June Squibb.

As a photographer, Lowell’s work has been featured in the Sovereign Collection and Elton John Collection, as well as in Interview Magazine, Glamour and Vanity Fair. Lowell’s acting credits include “The Help,” “Glow,” “Promising Young Woman,” “Up in the Air” and “Veronica Mars.”
