Saturday afternoon with Tom Bassett on the Las Vegas Strip: The launch of the age 21+ Soirée Series at Liam’s Den & Bubble Bar in The Grand Canal Shoppes in The Palazzo Tower at The Venetian Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip.
The cozy and swanky soirée premiere featured Gosset Champagne and Beluga Vodka martinis garnished with three-olive spears, with the vegetables topped off with caviar – fun and divine at the same time.
The menu curated by Chef Keris Kuwana, who recently accepted a chef position with Liam’s, included mini baked potatoes with caviar, mini croissants with caviar, focaccia with anchovies, mini caviar pancakes made on-site by friendly server Mark and olive oil-infused chocolate ice cream.
Also at Liam’s on Saturday: Owner Gina Paul, Kuwana’s fiancé Kevin McKellar, Anissa Christal, Emmy Kasten, Al Mancini + Sue Mancini and more.
I missed Liam’s grand opening in March 2024 because I was out of town for a wedding (my brother Charles Chareunsy attended in my place), but my first time at Liam’s soon after was a lovely Saturday night post-Harrah’s headliner Colin Cloud’s show with Cloud, his fiancée Jenna Jones and Bassett.
Charles and I were at Liam’s this past New Year’s Eve for a celebration hosted by award-winning Bonita Bonita Wine owners and sisters Nikki and Brie Garcia, aka The Bella Twins from WWE. (Search Jan. 1 on my social media for the reel.)
Pro Tip: Park in the garage for casino, not front desk, take the elevator to Level 2 (The Shoppes at Palazzo), and you arrive outside Liam’s. Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy.
