Brandon Flowers Announces Encore Theater Debut at Wynn Las Vegas With ‘Thrasher Tour’ on Oct. 6

The tour follows news that “Thrasher,” The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers’ first solo album in more than a decade, will be released on Aug. 21, via Island Records.

The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers, one of the most influential songwriters of his generation, has announced a solo tour in support of his upcoming album “Thrasher” this fall.

Flowers will make his venue debut at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip with a one-night-only performance on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Tickets for the performance go on sale on Friday, June 26, at 10 a.m. PT. 

The tour follows news that “Thrasher,” Flowers’ first solo album in more than a decade, will be released on Aug. 21, via Island Records. “Thrasher” was recorded in Nashville with longtime producers Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado.

“Thrasher” features celebrated Music City musicians, including Gillian Welch collaborator David Rawlings on guitar, prolific pedal steel player Bruce Bouton and Charlie McCoy, 85, who appears on Bob Dylan’s iconic Nashville recordings.

Rooted in Flowers’ formative years in Nephi, Utah, “Thrasher” showcases some of his most personal and vulnerable songwriting to date. The album’s first single, “Plans,” will be released on Friday, June 26.
