Cookies and cream? Correct! The workweek started with a visit on Monday morning to the OG Better Buzz Coffee Roasters in the Las Vegas Valley, the Henderson café on St. Rose Parkway that opened in October 2024.

The reason? Summer just got a little sweeter at Better Buzz, as new seasonal sips and bites have arrived, bringing nostalgic dessert flavors and summer favorites to the menu.

New Cookies & Cream Collection 
Inspired by the classic cookies & cream combo, this menu blends creamy, rich flavors with Better Buzz favorites: 

• Cookies & Cream Best Drink Ever: The signature Best Drink Ever base topped with Cookies & Cream Cold Cream, chocolate sandwich cookie crumbles + rainbow sprinkles (fun!)
• Cookies & Cream Cold Brew: The chocolate cold brew topped with Cookies & Cream Cold Cream, cookie crumbles + rainbow sprinkles 
• Cookies & Cream Matcha: The vanilla matcha topped with Cookies & Cream Cold Cream, cookie crumbles + rainbow sprinkles 
• Cookies & Cream Blended Buzz: A chocolate cookie coffee blend with milk and ice, available with or without espresso (always with espresso, of course!)

New House-Made Egg Bites 
New flavorful breakfast options: 

• Carnitas Egg Bites: Roasted poblanos, carnitas, Mexican cheeses, salsa verde + cilantro yogurt sauce 
• Veggie Egg Bites: Cilantro lime cauliflower rice, roasted poblanos, Mexican cheeses, salsa verde + cilantro yogurt sauce 

The Cookies & Cream Best Drink Ever, Coconut Macadamia Nut Best Drink Ever, Carnitas Egg Bites, Veggie Egg Bites and Carnitas Breakfast Tacos were ordered via the Better Buzz app for rewards points, and the order was ready on time upon arrival at the café.

The two new egg bites and the breakfast tacos are flavorful, hearty and surprisingly filling. The Cookies & Cream Best Drink Ever was super-sweet and nostalgic. Better Buzz is a more affordable option vs. some competitors, and this is a welcome, much-appreciated and good thing.

New Better Buzz in Summerlin

Another Better Buzz Coffee café opened in Summerlin at 10020 W. Sahara Ave. on Sunday, June 28, and my brother Charles Chareunsy and yours truly stopped by during a sneak peek on Saturday, June 27, after the launch of Ciao Bella Brunch at Balla Italian Soul at Sahara Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip in the morning.

At the top of the list at the new location: The Honey Brown Sugar Non-Dairy – yes, non-dairy, hooray! – Iced Espresso, a beverage with honey and spiced brown sugar topped with non-dairy honey brown sugar cold cream and cinnamon sugar.

The specialty drink – much appreciated for us lactose-intolerant customers – was created exclusively for the Summerlin location and will only be available during the café’s first 30 days of opening – so it ends Tuesday, July 28.

The Honey Brown Sugar Non-Dairy Iced Espresso is fantastic and should be added to the menu at all Better Buzz Coffee locations in the Valley (two more are reportedly opening this year).

The service at the new Better Buzz Coffee in Summerlin was efficient and fast. Life is indeed truly better buzzed.
