Clay is proud to be one of America’s most controversial and outrageous comics. Clay is a rock and roll comedy legend. When he released his debut album, “Dice,” the parental advisory label read “Warning: This album is offensive.”
Despite backlash, Clay’s rise to fame was meteoric, creating “Dicemania.” He’s sold out arenas across the country and was the only performer ever “Banned for Life From MTV” (a ban which has since been lifted). So much “for life.”
Clay has released gold and platinum-selling albums, including “The Day the Laughter Died” (among the five releases Rick Rubin produced for Clay); best-selling DVDs (“Dice Rules!”); and starred in HBO, pay-per-view and Showtime standups, including “No Apologies,” “The Diceman Cometh” and “Indestructible.”

Clay’s career has experienced a resurgence, including his recurring role on the final season of “Entourage.” He starred alongside Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin in Woody Allen’s Oscar-winning “Blue Jasmine,” in Martin Scorsese’s “Vinyl,” in the Oscar-winning “A Star Is Born” with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.
Other credits include Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy” and two seasons of his Showtime series “Dice” loosely based on his own life. In 2014, Simon & Schuster published Clay’s autobiography “The Filthy Truth” about his rise, fall and triumphant return.
Clay’s “On the Street” videos on Instagram and TikTok have resulted in him being hailed as a contemporary cultural phenomenon tackling the modern zeitgeist. He is now in discussions with production companies to take these videos to television.
