The Association of Fundraising Professionals Las Vegas Chapter has announced its 3rd Annual Mission Pitch taking place on Monday, Sept. 30, from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. The dynamic event spotlights the impactful work of local nonprofits in a fast-paced, high-energy pitch format.

Mission Pitch provides nonprofit professionals with a powerful platform to share their stories, elevate their missions and compete for unrestricted grant funding to fuel their work throughout Southern Nevada.

“Mission Pitch is a stage for nonprofits to tell their stories in powerful new ways,” AFP Las Vegas President Karen Alonso, pictured above. “Through the support of our sponsors, presenters gain visibility, feedback and funding that help them amplify their missions.

NV Energy, PNC Bank and Catapult Fundraising are generous event sponsors, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening Nevada’s nonprofit sector and investing in community-driven solutions.

The event brings together nonprofit professionals, funders, business leaders and philanthropists. Participating nonprofits will have just five minutes to deliver a compelling pitch that highlights their mission, programs and impact, followed by live judging and prize distribution.

This year’s panel of judges includes Anthony Alonso, president of Catapult Fundraising; Magda Hirsch, Vice President, Client and Community Relations Director, PNC; and Karen Johnson, Senior Community Relations Specialist, NV Energy.
