More: New Dining: Balla Italian Soul Launches Ciao Bella Brunch at Sahara Las Vegas on June 27

Ciao bella! There’s a new fabulous weekend brunch on the Las Vegas Strip, and it’s on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Las Vegas:

Ciao Bella Brunch at James Beard Award-winning Chef Shawn McClain’s Balla Italian Soul at Sahara Las Vegas.

My brother, photographer and professional +1 Charles Chareunsy, and I brunched at Balla Italian Soul last Saturday, June 27, for the launch, and it was delightful + delicious at $55 per person (the entire table must order the Ciao Bella Brunch). Our brunch (with leftovers):

• Smoked whitefish dip (a standout)
• Italian pasta salad
• Tomato arancini (I mistook it for a meatball!)
• Melon & burrata
• Prosciutto omelette
• Ricotta pancake
• Calamari shells (it had some kick; it was the Calabrian chili)
• Fusilli carbonara
• Frozen lemon (a perfect dessert to end brunch)
• Dark chocolate tart
• Unlimited Aperol Spritzes (dangerous)
• Pellegrino with lime wedges
• A DJ and a sultry live singer

Ciao Bella Brunch is not AYCE; select four appetizers, four entrees, plus desserts from the menu. This means customers can take home leftovers. A shoutout to our excellent server Ethan, whom we met when we had dinner at Balla Italian Soul last month.
